Andy Drechsler joins Orcosa as Chief Financial Officer

Orcosa appointed Andy Drechsler as Chief Financial Officer, bringing 30 years of financial and operational experience in life sciences to the company. His responsibilities include financial operations, strategic planning, fundraising, capital markets activities, and investor relations.

Drechsler served as CFO of Provention Bio from 2017 to 2021. During that period, he helped build the organization, led its July 2018 initial public offering, and raised more than $300 million in equity capital. His experience spans the financial and organizational demands of growing biopharmaceutical businesses.

Earlier, Drechsler served as CFO of Insmed and Valera Pharmaceuticals. At Valera, he led the company through its initial public offering and subsequent sale to Indevus Pharmaceuticals. He earned his degree in accounting from Villanova University, graduating magna cum laude.

At Orcosa, Drechsler works alongside the leadership team to align financial strategy and resources with the company’s development priorities.
